Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are between you (or the company you represent, the “Customer”) and SLP Media Ltd trading as Krux. By creating an account or using Krux you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so.
2. The service
Krux is a construction site, compliance and workforce-management platform with payroll estimation tooling (CIS, PAYE, National Insurance, pension auto-enrolment, CSCS, RAMS, CDM 2015 and RIDDOR support).
3. Compliance & payroll disclaimer (important)
Krux provides estimates and tools, not verified payroll, tax, legal or financial advice. Figures (including tax, National Insurance, CIS deductions and pension contributions) are indicative, may use simplified assumptions, and must be verified against HMRC guidance and your own qualified advisers before you pay anyone or make any filing.
The Customer remains solely responsible for its obligations as an employer and/or contractor, including correct deductions, RTI/CIS300 submissions, payments to HMRC, and worker monitoring transparency. Krux is not your payroll bureau, accountant or tax agent, and is not liable for filing or payment errors arising from reliance on its estimates.
4. Accounts & acceptable use
- Keep your credentials secure and your account information accurate.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and your team’s.
- Don’t misuse the service, attempt to break security or access other tenants’ data, or use Krux unlawfully.
5. Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a licence to host and process it to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter (including a lawful basis for any worker personal data and location monitoring). Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
6. Fees
Subscription fees and any platform fee on payroll processed are as shown on our pricing page or your order. [Pricing is currently indicative and will be confirmed before any charge.] Fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated.
7. Payments & disbursements
Where worker disbursements are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe’s terms. Krux facilitates instructions; the movement of funds is performed by the regulated payment provider.
8. Availability & warranties
We work to keep Krux available and accurate but provide it “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or for tax/penalty liabilities arising from your reliance on estimates. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [Cap on liability to be set, e.g. fees paid in the prior 12 months.]
10. Termination
You may stop using Krux at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach. On termination we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period, then delete or return it per the Data Processing Agreement.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL], SLP Media Ltd, [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
